Creek Technologies is seeking a Pricing Analyst, or Pricer, with experience in the DoD and Federal government market. The Pricing Analyst is a key resource to provide pricing solutions to CreekTech’s potential customers through business development channels. The pricing analyst uses informative resources regarding customer needs, historical data, market conditions, and internal margin/revenue targets to prepare pricing quotes and/or internal proposals regarding pricing strategies for future opportunities. The Pricing Analyst must be familiar with pricing cost-plus fixed fee, time and material, and firm fixed price contracts and have experience with pricing service contract act solicitation requirements.
• Perform as single point of contact and responsibility for producing pricing volumes for all Creek Technologies’ proposals, acting as leader for the task • Prepare RFPs to be issued by CreekTech to subcontractors to solicit pricing from subcontractors • Obtain data for cost analysis studies through market research • Prepare reports, charts, and graphs of findings • Evaluate findings and make recommendations to business development personnel regarding financial feasibility of projects. • May recommend use of alternative methods to reduce costs and/or increase revenue • Develop and maintain pricing tools and process documentation • Forecast margins to help the business understand the impact of proposed pricing • Monitor input costing changes and develop sensitivity analysis thresholds to provide reporting on potential changes to pricing strategies • Present pricing analysis at project strategy meetings, with insights, trends, and suggestions • Communicate and help implement pricing changes bi-directionally through the command chain • Lead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations • Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the industry via information obtained from financial publications and services, government agencies, company sources, and personal interviews • Assist R&D efforts with financial market views and feedback • Periodically contribute to financial reporting and tax data preparation upon request
• Expert level using MS Excel (5-10 years of experience is required) • Demonstrated DoD experience support pricing for solicitation contracts (5-10 years of experience is required) • Team leadership (5-10 years of experience is preferred) • Communication Proficiency • Presentation Skills
Undergraduate degree in a finance-related field desired, Masters Degree preferred
5 years of relevant pricing experience for DoD contracts. Advanced Excel skills
