Creek Technologies is seeking an Information Technology Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining our “Always On” posture for our IT systems in the company. The Systems Administrator implements and maintains our Active Directory and Domain Name Server; Linux, Windows, SQL Database, SharePoint, and Exchange servers; Windows 10 and Mac OS X computers; and network printers. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading, patching, and monitoring software and hardware. The Systems Administrator will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, webservers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs.
• Assign configuration of authentication, authorization, and directory services and systems • Build and administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, software deployment, security updates and patches • Maintain network servers and network attached storage devices • Maintain email accounts and phone directory • Maintain company security monitoring devices and systems • Maintain settings in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers • Install, configure, and troubleshoot user business applications • Maintain network and system security • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues • Evaluate and modify system’s performance • Make recommendations for future upgrades • Maintain accountability of all IT and Communications assets • Serve as a temporary fill-in administrator for WPAFB contracts
• Required o Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance o Security+ certification required w/in 3 months of start date o Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems: Windows 10, Microsoft Server 2016, Microsoft SQL 2016, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 o Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
• Desired o Experience with SharePoint systems o Experience with SharePoint operations o Experience with SharePoint applications o Experience with scripting or software coding/development o Experience with Linux OS
Progress towards degree in computer science, technology, or relevant field desired. Microsoft Professional Certifications desired.
