Summary

Creek Technologies is seeking an Information Technology Network Administrator responsible for maintaining our “Always On” posture for our IT networking systems in the company. The Network Administrator implements and maintains our ISP connections; configuration of firewalls and network security devices; setup of network routers and switches; and maintenance of other network attached devices. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading, patching, and monitoring software and hardware including occasionally running cable in the facility. Responsibilities

• Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration • Design and deploy networks, Wi-Fi devices, and VPN gateways • Perform network address and VLAN assignments • Maintain company PBX, VoIP phones, VoIP systems • Maintain company network security devices and systems • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems • Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations • Maintain network and system security • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues • Evaluate and modify system’s performance • Make recommendations for future upgrades • Maintain accountability of all IT and Communications assets

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn additional technical skills • Experience with Cisco router/firewall technology desired • Experience with LAN, switching, and routing desired • Experience with NAS and on-site/cloud data backup desired • Experience with PBX and VoIP systems desired • Security+ certification desired • REQUIRED for part time position o Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance o Security+ certification w/in 3 months of start date

Education

• Progress towards degree in computer science, technology, or relevant field desired • Cisco Professional Certifications desired

Experience

• 6 months experience working with IT networking systems desired

Clearance

o Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance

Salary Range

• Hourly commensurate with education and experience
