This is a part-time position (up to 30 hours a week) with the potential to be full-time. The accounting clerk will assist the accounting department in a variety of capacities, including accounts receivable and payable functions, maintaining QuickBooks, monthly reconciliation and more. The ideal candidate must have QB experience and have an accounting degree with at least 2-5 years’ experience.
• Performs accounts receivable functions. • Performs accounts payable functions. • Performs complex clerical and entry-level accounting activities. • Processes expense reports in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with departmental procedures. • Reconciles employee credit card accounts. • Enters new vendors into QuickBooks. • Files and maintains clerical records and reports pertinent information to accounting team. • Assists in balancing accounts by proofreading, verifying using source documents, etc.; preparing summary balances, cost information, and other reports as requested for supervisor’s use in preparing financial statements. • Performs other duties as may be assigned. • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
• Accounting Degree with 2-5 years’ experience • QuickBooks Experience • Accounts Payable/Receivable Experience • Microsoft Office/ Excel Proficient
2-5 years’ experience • QuickBooks experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
